"I could really use a break right now," Rachel hid the remote in the drawer of her desk and made her way to the break room. The room was deserted, good she didn't need any useless conversations right now. She grabbed a cup from the cabinet and walked over to the coffee machine.
Meanwhile she thought about the possibilities she had with the remote in her possession. If she disliked someone she could just shrink him/her, trouble reaching the highest shelf? No problem she would just grow a foot taller.
Everything seemed possible and the more she thought about it, the more she wanted to get back to her desk and use the device some more. The woman quickly finished up her coffee and left the small break room. It was time for changes, changes that would make Rachel's life easier.
After enjoying her well deserved coffee, she put down the cup and left the break room.
She head over to her desk, when she saw the drawer was slightly opened. "No," the woman pulled out the drawer and turned it upside down on her desk. There were lots of files and junk on her desk, but the remote was gone.
"Where is it!," Rachel started to panic, her remote was gone! She searched the floor around her desk, but it just wasn't there. Did someone take it? This device may have a lot of power, but it wouldn't just disappear on it's own. Someone definitely took it. But who?
Besides herself, Karen, Paula and Roxanne there was no one else in the building. Or so she thought.
