Angie was despaired. She had been through a lot many times, but this was the worst. She realized she was on the edge of losing all her sanity. Her will to live. And she was so despaired she was ready to believe in the stupidest things, like a dictaphone granting wishes. Maybe it was another of Vanessa's cruel jokes. Maybe it had nothing to do with it. But it was tied to this fateful day and Angie didn't want to see it anymore. She wanted to forget this day. Entirely.
