1. You are a civilian or rookie hero who runs afoul of a villainess (Enchantress, Calypso, Emma Frost, Vertigo, Dansen Macabre, Black Cat, Lady Bullseye, etc) who decides to show you your place.

2. You are an aspiring villain in the Marvel Universe, but following comic book law the good guys always win. Some of the heroines (Black Widow, Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, American Dream, Wasp, Invisible Woman, Rogue, Jean Grey) then try to crush or seduce your evil side into submission
