You are King Alexander for some time now you were married to Marion, the queen. A long time you both wished for a child. But no matter what, the queen could not give you an heir. So when you were about to give up, a sorceress apeared. In secret you made a deal with her. She would magicly grant you and the queen a child, and in return she would ask a favor in the future.
This is excactly 1 year ago and today ypu celebrate your daughters birth. The happiest day in the entire kingdom. Then in the middle of celebrations: the sorcress apeared in tge throneroom and said :,, My king, one year ago I granted ypur desire for a child, in return I only ask for a home in your castle."
But you did not want a witch living in your castle, so you refused and banished from your kingdom.
The sorceress was furious. ,, You will regret breaking your promise,king. I curse you:You won't get an heir for the throne nor happynes from this child, your princess Elizabeth. Eeryone has to live in your shadow, but from this day forth, you and the entire kingdom will live in someone elses shadow!"
And then she jus disapeared. So the celebration continuied and you were happy again.
But you secretly wondered what the threat meant.
So the years went on and you ruled with you family.
But it seemed the soreceress really cursed you because a few years later the queen, you wife marion, died.
17 Years later your kingdom was as peaceful as ever, your daughter, princess Elizabeth just turned 17 andeverything was normal in kingdom and castle.
Or , note "really" normal for the curse has had its effect. You, the king lived in someone elses very huge shadow...
Now, who in castle and kingdom was actually effected by the curses magic.
