Those who go though the shrinking process are the most desperate, as they are forced to do so because they have come into the debt or disliking of the few members of society who posses the illegal shrinking technology.

The US governments official response to the discovery of any shrunken humans is to euthanize them, as they want to avoid the reproduction of more tiny humans. This response forces shrunken humans to stay loyal to their giant captors if they want to stay alive.

The epicenter of the shrunken slave trade is in Hollywood where the rich and famous pay top dollar to buy ownership of rare tines.
