Follow a person living in a galaxy full of aliens and antics to be had

This is an interactive story. Each chapter tells part of the story and often ends with multiple choices. Make a choice and move to the next chapter in your story. When you reach a chapter that hasn't been written yet, don't be shy... make an addition!
The creator of this Interactive Story provides this information and guidance:
The galaxy is a big place. So big in fact, that it's a mathematical impossibility for intelligent alien life to NOT exist. So imagine that we go into the future, where humanity has reached the stars and has encountered alien life. What would they be like? How would humans interact with them? Can they have sex with each other? These are very important questions we must answer for the benefit of science, and I call upon YOU, dear reader, to imagine the answer to these questions...by adding chapters to this interactive. So create a character, put them into an alien nation of your choice/creation, and send them off to the stars!

Rules:
1: No sexual content involving characters under 18. Anyone over 18 though is fair game.
2: No toilet stuff
3: Gore is allowed, but don't be excessive
4: Try to make some decent sized and grammatically correct chapters only
5: This is based off of Stellaris and other sci-fi properties, so if you wanna recreate your favorite sci-fi thing, go ahead
6: Keep in mind more rules may be added in the future if problems arise
7: Have fun, even if you can only add 2 options for each chapter, I'll add more options later or combine option chapters (if you want specific extra options or have a problem with added options, send the owner an email), so go wild

Added rules:
8: Keep regular vanilla humans a thing. You can transform them or make a new subspecies of humans on a different planet, but keep the majority of humans on earth normal humans. You can also make a species that looks exactly like humans but have a special quirk about them, if you really want to. (Added because people kept asking about what they could and couldn't do to humans)
