When Aether travels to Tevyat he finds himself at the bottom of the food chain.

When Aether travel to Tevyat he gets to keep his wings, but he finds out that he step bf lay resembles a fairy in this world due to his size and looks. Along with that, it turns out that Fairies are only seen as pets, food or pests to most people in Tevyat.

Will Aether be able to survive in in a world that only sees him as an animal?
