This story has a rather specific definition of role swapping. Essentially, when two people are role swapped, they get each others age( birthdate), gender and body shape. Reality shifts to make it always the case (pictures, videos, events, memories get altered)
For example, a 30 year old fit man swapping with a 40 year old fat man, would cause both men to trade size and age. Swaps within a family causes members to adopt each others role ( mom swaps with son, son becomes mom, mom is now son)

Brian was a 18 year old kid who just moved out of his parents place. He works at a fast food restaurant, and is pretty broke. He lives with his roommate Conner, sharing a two bedroom apartment.
