A simple love poem with an impressive narrative mode.
Love can be soothing and healing as it happens to the girl in the poem. The effect of love is enunciated with well chosen words and rhyming.
"Or was it my foolishness
You were beginning to tug"
When the whole world abandons, love waits in the wings saving her sanity. Isn't love a true rescuer from perils of life?

Rhyming-
perfect rhyming makes it flow well. It melds naturally into the theme and is not obvious or forced.

Imagery-
Images of a girl caught in the net of loneliness and pain, the lover saving her from further panic and showing a way to give and take love- are the images I could glean from this rhyming verse.

It flows well.
