It is quite fascinating and at the same time somewhat repulsive. The supernatural element is webbed around the computer now.

The setting-
Setting strikes me important. The lady working at her desktop encounters an obstinate and peculiar eye focused at her from the screen. It is between her and her computer. None has access to it, not even a computer geek. You have done a great job introducing the extra-terrestrial through a modern setting.

The characters-
Of all the characters you have created, only two stand out. The problem is between the two of them. The "eye" has a great impact on Anne. It seems to have invaded her mind completely and we can see which way it is leading her. That's a bit pathetic.

Why did it happen?
Although we don't get any answers to this question, the possible answer that I could think of is that Anne might be spending a little too much time with her computer. Perhaps the "eye" is the only way to turn her against it, hopefully for a short while.

I find the story quite engaging.
