A nature poem that describes a day spent by the sea. There are so many things to do and to watch, more to watch and let the pleasure soak into the body and soul. You can keep them together without much ado where nature rules. While the waves rush to shore and the sun glints on the blue deep, the music of seagulls and children's laughter, allow day to gain a joyful rhythm.

Waves that ebb and flow."

Simple joys that give contentment are shown with clarity and common sense. Even the delights of nature have to be enjoyed to a moderate measure. Pangs of hunger cannot be ignored. Time to go home and enjoy the remembered moments of a sunny seashore.
