Some things I Like:

I do love the scifi elements in this piece. I'm a huge science fiction fan, after all. It did not seem to be too far in the future most of the time (like the prevalence of makeup tattoos-- people do that now), while other times it seemed much further in the future. Still, it was fun.

Observations & Suggestions:

There are many cute sorts of details in this piece, which I appreciate. Whether you're aware of them or not, there are also many classic scifi ideas in here. Like the faux cat-- akin to "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" by P. K. Dick... just as a for instance. Lots of the elements made me smile.

As for the contest, the character voice did not seem super unique or strong to me. The story details were great, but I don't feel like I got to know her very well. I don't know how she would react in any given situation or how she would feel. Know what I mean? It's a nice piece, but the character is not what makes it fun for me.
