*Ringssilver* Congratulations on your huge battle to recovery. Alcohol and drug abuse is a problem that never ends well if left untreated. So, you should be quite proud of your achievements. I imagine your family is very proud, also.

*Coffeet* Writing is a wonderful way to capture your thoughts and be creative. I'm so happy your found your way to the WDC community.

*Vignette4* Your story, although quite short, seems to be an introduction to your ordeal. I think it could be developed a little more to give the reader a picture of family life and what led up to the decision to seek help.

*Buttonforward* Also, skipping a couple spaces between paragraphs is a good idea, making it easier when reading items on a computer screen.

*Starv* I wish you the best of luck with your writing! It sounds like you are really enjoying your new life, free from the shackles of alcohol and drugs.
