I'm pretty sure that your book for "Invalid Item"  should have a perfect score. We clearly haven't rated every since piece a perfect 10, but the effort is there. And the quality has been consistently high. I expected no less. You're brilliant.

So, I haven't given you a real review in a very long time, and it feels weird to do so now. A conversation is so much easier. Since I'm not judging Day 10, I just thought I'd say:

Those opening lines are stellar (okay, pun intended a little bit). So so good. I wish I'd written them! It's a pretty solid indication of excellence when you read something and are immediately jealous that you hadn't written it. All of the rest is lovely as well... the smog-riddled womb is especially nice too, and I do think that people will connect that "Mother Earth" in there. I love "expansive sweater" just as much though... it is a very YOU line, and it's just... perfect.

The entire second stanza is about the message not the magic, and to be honest, I think that's a good thing. There is so much magic in the first stanza that it is almost a relief to read the message in the second. Anything less, and my brain would have exploded.

Okay, so I guess I ended up writing more than I thought I would. But anyway. I love it, Char! It's gorgeous.
