A haunting narrative that delves into the depths of a man's tortured past.
In a room with walls stark and bare,
A man resides in deep despair.
Once a boy with eyes so bright,
Now he's lost in endless night.

Kidnapped young, his innocence torn,
Forced to suffer, left forlorn.
Two weeks of hell, a lifetime of pain,
Haunting memories, a cruel chain.

Released at last, but never free,
His captor gone, yet still can't flee.
Alcohol numbs, depression grips tight,
PTSD shadows, day and night.

Therapy tried, and pills in hand,
But nothing heals this broken man.
Night terrors strike with vengeful might,
His soul consumed in endless fright.

A prisoner in his haunted mind,
Seeking solace he cannot find.
Each day a battle, each night a war,
Inching closer to the end's dark shore.

The locked room of his tortured soul,
Where shadows dance and memories stroll.
A man adrift, a ship untethered,
In a sea of pain, his hope weathered.

For those who suffer, unseen scars,
May we reach out, break down the bars.
In darkness deep, a light may gleam,
Hold on tight, it's not just a dream.

"The Locked Room" tells a tale of woe,
A man's descent, his inner foe.
In shadows deep, he seeks the key,
To unlock his soul and set him free.
