Prompt: Some folks like to Hi-Light their favorite lines in a book. Others are enraged by such a desecration. Write a story or poem about finding a used book full of yellow markings.

You followed the prompt nicely. Isn't it funny how we don't like to see highlighted text and yet we've done it ourselves? I love underlining and highlighting interesting facts in non-fiction books. Most of my nonfiction books deal with writing, so... ... yeah.

You might consider your last line... that I marked up my copy and add a 'd to I... that I'd marked up my copy

Nice flow, good rhyming, easy to follow.
