Such a beautiful and heartwarming look at what goes on in a mother's heart.

I love all the contrasts that you drew between what the mother puts on and how she really feels. I also loved the way you compared her real life experience to what she ends up remembering. She remembers only the good and buries in her heart the worries, as she puts on a brave front. This, I believe, is what angels are like.

I particularly enjoyed the beginning: "A mother births in agony, but remembers only the exultation of the miracle." This is very thought provoking. It got me thinking about some of my experiences. We often do remember the positives and forget the hard work that went into it. Sometimes I find myself longing for a particular period of my life, but when I truly think about it I often realize that I somehow managed to gloss over the hardships, only to remember the few shining moments.

I really loved reading this.

This was my favorite line: "She knows the deepest, most irrational fears and the most glorious heights of adoration." That is quite beautiful. It sums the whole thing up perfectly.

It is also very well written, I have absolutely nothing to offer in terms of critique.

Very nicely done. Thank you so much for sharing this!
