I really enjoyed reading this.

At first your description actually made me pause and I was curious about what it is that made the world stop.

Your wonderful metaphors make for a beautiful journey.

These are my favorite lines: "A smile shining brightly
into the dark reaches of my heart"

The manner by which you structured your lines and where they break is very interesting and makes for a great flow.

And finally, I particularly enjoyed the fact that you started the poem with time stopping and by the end the sands of time flowed once again and the fantasy merged beautifully with what is real.
