It's been pleasure to review your "Venture into the unknown"  on behalf of the Simply Positive Group. *Star*Plot?
I really like the opening line of this story. The whole story sounds exciting. Making me want to know more about that Sky Island and what is it all about. Your writing is very well, you use metaphoric words to describe certain things and situation, I just like how it sounds overall.

*Star*Characters?
We don't know too much about character here and what is going on and I think it should be something more than this. I'm aware this is like some kind of prologue or draft for longer story or novel but I don't think I would like it if you leave it like here. It's just too short and simply crawling for some more information especially about character.

*Star*Mood?
You set your story as some kind of mystery and fantasy genre and while I was reading it I recognized that tone. Here you did great job. *Smile*

*Star*Overall impression?
You're in the track of something great here I'm sure. All you need to do now is to dedicate writing to your character's description and prelude to how he found himself here. Thanks for sharing your work with us and good luck. All smiles.. *Smile*
