Hi Elle! This is the first of the five reviews I owe you from forever ago!

TITLE: Your title is exactly what made me read this piece! I do have a question though, what you describe in the poem takes place on the 26th?

THEME: All the wonderful gatherings and food shared on Boxing Day! What a difference from my December, I had to read it twice when I got to the barbecue. I usually can't find the grill that time of year under all the snow!

PACE: Your pace is quick and lively, much like the activities of the day.

FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE: You paint a wonderful picture of the activities, from the food to the games to the lovely photo frame; the gift that keeps regifting.

SPELLING/GRAMMAR: I noted no errors in any of these areas.

AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT: I found nothing to improve upon in your piece.

EXCELLENT WRITING EXAMPLES: I love all your descriptions from start to finish!
