What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port?

*Cow* I am today's judge in "The Writer's Cramp - Poetry Week. Thanks for entering!

What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* This is a fast paced story about intrigue among women politicians and potential power grabbers. There is a lot of plotting and intrigue, spiced with a bit of blackmail and the like.

The goal is power and Jordan is a woman who wants it and thinks she knows how to get it.

*Noter* In the second sentence, I noticed you used the word "stage" twice. Maybe you could change it to this when you edit:

"She turned her head towards the front of the room, where Jordan was announcing Aston Colt to the stage." *Checkr*

You might want to look it over and see what you think there.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup* I like how you incorporated the quotes you needed to use at the beginning and the end of the story. Donna pressing that button seems deliberate and like it's part of the diabolical scheme. That tied right into that ending line about not being mistakes.

I also thought this part was brilliant glimpse into Taylor's shallow character:

"Every time she had to retell the story, she felt herself detaching a little more from it."

You wrote a fine and engaging story - well done!

I am not an expert on poetry or prose or much else. I am merely a reader who loves to read. If I send a review, it means I enjoyed my reading experience enough to let you know it. I travel to many galaxies and pick my reading carefully, just as I pick my hay carefully.
