What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?

*Cool**Idea* You write a fine poem depicting a battle to forgive and unite on a very long night, suggesting the winter solctice for such a metaphorical battle with oneself.

I like the notion of struggling to forgive one's enemies and betrayers. That is always tougher than it might seem in writing.

What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?

*Thumbsup* I especially like this second stanza:

"We as humans have a nature whose will eternal night consumes,
the sins we commit give us permission to carry us to our isolated doom,
We go to war against the day and why I cannot say,
Except that forgiveness is a trait with a highly regarded role to play,"

Humans are a self destructive lot, with sometimes noble instincts. This is about choosing the light on the darkest of nights.
