| Hello there!  I am reviewing your story as a judge for the
Thanks for entering!  I enjoyed reading your entry. You did a fine job with the Fantasy Genre. You kept the reader moving through the action, and feeling the pressure of the chase. I could almost feel the guards breathing down the character's neck, as he ran up the stairs to find what was his, and had been unjustly taken.Observations:  You give minimal description of the protagonist. The reader does have a good picture of his talons, though. My issue was trying to picture exactly what kind of being he was. Was he a vampire/or demon? I couldn't get a clear picture of that. Also, I would have liked a little more history of the character and how he became who or what he was. I know that's difficult with the tight word count, though. Interesting tale.
