Plot/story elements:

Did I feel attached to the story or poem?

Wow. What a message. You never know, do you? We better apprciate our time with our loved ones, because we never quite know. It's strange because I just had an arguement with my 10 year old about helping out more and instilling a work ethic. I think out all the pieces, I was supposed to read this one today. I'm going to hug him when I get off the computer and tell him I love him.

Would I recommend this piece of writing to someone else?

Maybe everyone who has a loved one could benefit from being reminded that our time is short and we need to appreciate every bit of it we can from our loved ones.

Was there a clear purpose to it?

I took away the need to appreciate our time with our loved ones. There will always be a generational divide, and the important thing is that I reflected on is that we love each other through it. I hope this piece wasn't in anyway biographical.

*StarStruck* Glows:

It was easy to follow. Grandpa's dialog reminded me of a lot of grandpa's out there so it seemed authentic to me.

*Vine1* Grows:

I almost didn't read the last lines because it looked like an annotation to me. That would have greatly affected the meaning of the story. I would space it closer to the line.
