Hi BrandiwynšŸŽ¶ ,

I am Lorraine and I am reviewing your piece "October Novel Prep Challenge today in affiliation with "Simply Positive Review Forum .

Title: An October challenge to help you prepare for NaNoWriMo. It seems like a suitable title. It's memorable, but maybe that's because it's such an awesome challenge, that I feel saves NaNoWriMo for quite a few WDC authors!

First Impression: A brilliant challenge that's fun to participate in. When you see this forum begin to get active again, you know that NaNoWriMo is coming around again! This is a huge activity, so it's amazing how well-managed it is. The use of spreadsheets within Google makes it easier for you to manage, as a lot of it is managed by each participant. Takes some of the weight off your shoulders, until there's a technology meltdown, of course. *Wink*

Rules: The rules are pretty simple. Take a look at the tasks, and spend at least 15 minutes a day working on it. Don't fall more than three days, but if you do and still finish, we'll still reward you with something. I can't see a reason someone wouldn't want to particpate in this. Even if they weren't planning to participate in NaNo, this is an invaluable activity for novel prep in general.

Appearance: It's October, so you've gone for the autumn theme with oranges and browns. You've gone further with this with the use of the autumnal leaves. It looks great, and different information is highlighted in different colours, so it doesn't all look like one big block of writing.

Particpation: There's no question here, you get an unbelievable amount of participants each year. Luckily, you also get plenty of donations. There's good interaction between you, the other leaders and the participants. You're always willing to help out someone stuck on a challenge. It's a great atmosphere around here in October.

Spelling/Grammar: No errors spotted.

Closing Thoughts: Thanks for running this activity every October. It's interesting to look at the statistics of number of participants each year. It's always been popular, but it's definitely been increasing recently!

Lorraine
