"Game of Thrones"   by Gaby ~ Just tired

PLOT -
Interesting tale from both points of view, the dragons who willing want a human sacrifice, and the human who hates this tradition, knowing if they pick the wrong slip of paper their fate is sealed and life will end. Or will it?

SETTING -
Good moments as the dragon reached into the bowl with his blue claw. Also with the lottery drawing and how that red x meant sure death to whoever held it. The young girl chained the post as she awaited her fate was easy to picture in my mind.

CHARACTERS -
The young dragon who goes out to see what the day will bring, only to realize the young girl wouldn't make for a good meal. He instead is seeking friendship. The young girl who is terrified, ready to strike with her knife and fight to the death if necessary.

GRAMMAR/SPELLING/DIALOGUE -
She stood at the ready, a long knife in her hand.

~The dialog was believable. Only the one missing word stood out.

THOUGHTS -
I enjoyed this one, especially the ending. I hope you extend this story, expand where the young girl and dragon go from here. I could easily see a fast friendship ready to form between the pair. Now that would make for an wonderful sequel as they share different adventures together. Write on!
House Greyjoy image for G.o.T.

This would be my name.
