First Impressions: "Please Do Not Cry For Me"  is an awesome, beautiful, moving poem. I have read thousands upon thousands of poems in my day, and this poem is stirring the heartstrings even now, moments after I have read it. A work of poetic art indeed, for it was written for those of us who have et to leave this world, though the person in the poem, whom wrote this work, already has left "the surly bonds of earth" - to quote another...



Overall Impact: "Please Do Not Cry For Me" is a poem that rhymes it way into your world, into your heart, into your very soul. It describes how we of the earth, musn't fear for them, that they've been in need to leave their roots and develop wings - to soar on. They have not abandoned us, no - not at all - this writing goes the distance, confirming over and over that they who have gone have not left us in spirit.

Comforting words indeed.

Summation: A wonderfully written poem, one that I can honestly say remembers my parents and the wonderful world they provided me growing up in Life. All things told, it was if they both were speaking to me in spirit, as they often have, telling me that someday - soon - we'll be united once more...in Heaven.... *Heart*
