 What brought Hoovsie meandering in a space time continuum over to your port? I am continuing my reading about your European jaunt this summer. What does hoovsie think about while perusing your item?   Now you are talking about a place I have been to. Ah yes, Paris! The people definitely did not like Americans when I went. That was in the 1970's. Late 70's. We were actually on a train in France when an official came through the train and made us pay more money or he would let us out (teen age girls traveling together alone) in the middle of nowhere. It was quite frightening!What does hooves moo and applaud about while reading your item?  The thing I loved about Paris was the Impressionist Museum. It has since closed, the one I went to, but it was small and had a lot of the original Monet paintings in there - The Woman with the Parasol was a favorite of mine.I love the book, A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway, which is sort of a love letter to Paris, but it is Paris of the 1920's. I think Paris deteriorated after World War II into what it was in the 70's and probably is today. I would not go there without men accompanying me. Lots of big men. It is a beautiful city that hates its savior America for some stupid reason. They probably resent the fact that everyone knows that they caved into Hitler in a very cowardly and quick way. I wouldn't want to know that about my country. Another fine entry on your journey! HOOVES, a.k.a.
