This was so sad. You caught my attention and drew me in. His tears and sorrow touched my heart.

I liked the part about her forever young face, even though she must have been elderly when she passed.

Your rhyming was spot on and done well. The imagery was also done well and I could see the graveyard.

My heart reached out to him as he walked home alone.
