What I liked

This is a wonderful idea for a poetry contest, which is probably why it's been featured so many times in WDC newsletters. The judging is conducted swiftly and the new prompts issued immediately. The page itself is colourful and attracts the eye.

What might need work

When a new prompt is issued, consider an explanatory section under "Prompt" where the basic outline of that week's required form is spelled out in brief within the body of the contest page. That would avoid different entrants following different style guides when entering your wonderful contest.

Consider raising the allowed rating from "E" to "13+". There are many issues in the world that people feel emotional about speaking out about, conflicts and crimes that touch the individual and lead to much emotional outcry. Such things could not be expressed in a poem rated "E". I understand that your faith makes you fear to allow "naughty" poetry, but a 13+ rating would prevent anything too "naughty" getting through while at the same time as allowing people to hint at issues that cause them and other people either much pain or much pleasure. After all, poetry is all about emotions, so be careful about reining in entries too much.

Since you enjoy writing poetry, consider joining: "The Poet's Place "  and also think about possibly entering some contests, like: "Invalid Item"  and "Invalid Item"
