I'm not sure if this is a fictional piece or not, but whether it is or isn't doesn't matter; texting and driving is insane, and you did a good job of showing how much we rely on technology and how far it's helped us to advance or fall. In this case, it's definitely made us FALL! This is really sad, and it's certainly possible and likely to have happened. I've always said that technology would be the collapse of civilization, and I'll stand by those words 'til the day I die! Very well told, Luci, sad that it is. One tiny niggle: 'When they collided, time itself seems to freeze.' (should be 'seemed'-you changed the tense of the story) Otherwise, the spelling and grammar were flawless (thank you!), but it's sad to know that we risk our lives on something possibly as simple and small as a blown fuse!
