It's been a pleasure to review your story "River Crossing"  on behalf of "The WDC Angel Army" 

This review reflects my opinion only, and I am not a writing expert. I do hope you find something that is interesting to you.

This is a beautiful poem about exploring the dark side. We often fear of darkness. By exploring dark side we can enhance our self control.

I like the imaginary and the vivid words. The title fits your poem. You expressed beautifully feelings through words.

I like your rhyming. The tone is soothing that makes me read your poem to the end.
You have beautiful thoughts inside every line. My favorite lines

“where the suspended bridge
from the living to the dead
is camouflaged by river mist
and I can cross unimpeded”
