Shark? I Ain't Afraid of No Shark. [18+] Elizabeth screamed, and, friendship be daRned, I swam for my life. |
Konnichiwa, Carol! This is great! My first Horror/Scary Newsletter dealt a lot with the movie, Jaws. I was only about 10 years old when my ‘nice’ sister took me to see it with her husband, and it scared me so bad I literally could not put my feet over the edge of my bed for months because I was scared there was a shark under it! You did an excellent job of prefacing your own story with that opening scene from the movie, and the subsequent events of your friend’s ‘monster shark attack’ was hilarious! I also liked those descriptions of the boardwalk and how much suntan you were slathering on your bodies and noses! Comments: ‘a conniving, murderous, man-eating monster?’ (I don’t quite remember the shark being ‘conniving’ ) Elizabeth actually has a great white shark painted at the bottom of her pool? I love it! I wonder what those life guards thought about her bikini string attack! Great job, Carol! Thanks for sharing this, and have a marvelous day/summer! My only regret is that I can only put 5 stars on this, because it deserves a helluva lot more!
