Welcome to WDC from "Newbie Welcome Wagon" ! Greetings, a112yearoldman! First off, I don't believe you're a 112. But I'm 54, and some days I feel LIKE I'm 112! Anyway, I thought this was pretty good. I'm no expert on poetry, but the words rhymed perfectly, and the meter seemed to be constant. But it was the subject that made this shine! The difference between light and dark is about as big as night and day, and I don't mean that in a dumb way. Some of those lines you used were golden, such as 'Close to darkness when it rears, eclipsing all what waits Sliding faithfully in slow built tears, slowly closing all the gates' I've always thought of day and night (light and dark) constantly battling one another to see which one would be the ultimate victor. Science tells us that one day darkness will rule, which only makes sense. Sadly, I guess it was here first, so it'll also be here last. Well done, my friend! Kee ponw ritin gon, 112yearoldman, and welcome to WdC! If you like to write (and in your portfolio intro you said you did!), then you're going to love it here! PS-You might want to get your bioblock (biography) set up so we can know a little something about you (hobbies, favorite books/authors, location, etc.), but that's up to you, of course. PSS-And since you’re new here, perhaps you’d like to check out "Noticing Newbies" and introduce yourself to the rest of the community if you haven’t already.
PSSS-If you want more exposure for your items you can put them on the Please Review Page under Community on the left hand side.
