         *Acorn* Only a slight omission, I believe. The contest entries must end with "Happy Thanksgiving!" Since the girl is by herself, and crying, you could always have her whimper the words. Or whatever... *Smile*

         *Cookie* Your writing is so clear and precise, Ruwth. Nice job on this scene of a 17 year old girl who has run away and alone on Thanksgiving. And no one seems to be searching for her. I would love to know how this turned out, if it is actually you! *Heart*

         I had cut my hair—actually, my friends cut my hair by cutting off my ponytail. I don't recommend cutting hair that way. The result was an awful haircut.
         I loved this part! I could visualize it all very well! *Bigsmile*
