Hi whip-o-will,
This is a wonderful story. The tone is filled with satisfaction and anxiety. It grabs all the reader's attention and makes them want to read on. The reader is wondering what secrets from the speaker's past are being protected. They will read to the last word to find out. The plot is straight forward and moves along logically. The story is about someone burying, literally, a secret that could destroy their life. The conflict is well defined. There is no doubt about what is going on here. The characterization is detailed and vivid. The story concentrates on the speaker, and they come across as a real person. There is no dialogue but it is not needed here. The description is detailed and vivid. It puts the reader all the way into the story. I did come across one structural issue that needs your attention:

1) You have neglected to either indent or double space between paragraphs. You should remember to consistently do this to keep your writing clear for your reader.

The story is consistent in terms of point of view and tense. You have accomplished a great deal in just a few words. Great job.

A new Simply Positivwe group sig for reviewers.
