Overall Impression:

I chose this poem because I learned a few years ago that I experience synesthesia. I never knew, because to me that's my normal - it's how I experience the world. I thought that that's how it was for everyone. In my case, I see sounds. It's not too bad an experience, though whilst you'd think it would be easy to determine the direction of the sound, that's unfortunately not the case.

On to your poem - you address the different types of synesthesia and you do so by describing how a person experiences the sensations of a sunrise. I love the imagery - you paint a beautiful picture of what it would be like to taste the flavors of dawn, and to see all the colours of the dawn chorus. It's very well done.

On the technical side of things you do an excellent job as well. You taught me a new form, thank you, and you used it very effectively. I also love your use of punctuation. It assists the overall clarity and reading experience. All in all, this is definitely a recommended read.

Once more during this mini port raid I have no suggestions, sorry. You're an expert at poetry, and I am learning from you as I go along. *Smile*
