First impression:

It is nice to come to your portfolio and see this item that invitingly says: Start here. It goes on to explain that this holds your newest and possibly also your favorite (noteworthy) items. Definitely the place to be in your portfolio.

What works:

The header explains it right away. Yes, this holds your most recent and most cherished items in an easy to use list.

Each section has a short, but informative explanation what to expect. You make it easy to choose whether to hang out in your activities or even just browse them if they are off-season or to start reading in your poems, stories, or non-fiction items.

What needs work:

Nothing really. I wonder if a colorful banner would make the page a little less sterile. Although I have to say that all of the needed information is there.

Final thoughts:

I am always a little bit envious when I come across one of these portfolio introductory items. It is high time that I work on one. My portfolio is a complete mess since I took back Anniversary Reviews and all of its affiliated items and images plus the Snail Mail Group and all of those items. It's like my portfolio is half not even mine.
