About This Newsletter

Welcome to Noticing the Newbies Newsletter.

Our goal is to showcase our newest Writing. Com Authors in a wide range of variety of items to enjoy. Well, hope all members will take the time to read, rate, review, and welcome our new authors by introducing your self after all, we want our new authors to feel at home within our community and we might just make new friends.

Letter from the editor

A little about the Editor... I am Sunny and this is my first newsletter for newbies. I have been in Writing Dot Com since January 7, 2004, now and I hope you will enjoy this newsletter. I hope to share many different newbies in this newsletter.

There are even more new members now than when I joined 18 years ago! Writing and reviewing are key elements to your adventure here. Share a bit about you in your bio block, which is the doorway into your world...your portfolio! Shine out!

Check out the sidebar Link Writing.com Tools!
What a quick way to learn the tricks like linking, bitem ML, emoticons, using color, font type and size and so much more. I use it often as I can be forgetful!

The Community Tab has key places to check out as well: Such as contests, newsletter subscriptions, the plug page, etc.

Be sure to set your bio blocks with something interesting to catch other authors' eyes you know to reel us in be creative and clever. Review other Authors and please be sure to ask other members for help when you need it. Fan other members. Read and review others. Advertise your items on the newsfeeds using your item # link. Be sure to read the The StoryMaster and the The StoryMistress to learn more about this site. And don't forget to check out "Writing.Com 101"
