Running Out Of Time

It can be quite fun to take a different perspective on the world. I'm forever inwardly laughing at common phrases and truly appreciating everyday occurrences as scattered bits of life's humor. Now and then, I'll share some of my observations with others and many times am met with laughter and a "I never thought of it that way." (Conversely, I've been met with strange looks now and again.) So, in this newsletter, I am inviting you in to some of what makes me grin. *Bigsmile* Hopefully, you m

On almost a daily basis, I (or someone else) is caught running out of time. (Hey - it's even happening now, as this newsletter is due in about 12 1/2 hours.) Good thing this carries humor or it could potentially be quite distressing. Every time I hear of this happening, I can't help but picture a clock face on the ground and someone running off of it -- running out of time. Or, just today a friend and I went to lunch at a cafe. About a minute after being seated, the waiter stopped by and asked us we needed to take some more time. My friend couldn't help but laugh after the waiter left and looked over to me and asked how that would work. We decided it would be very helpful to be able to take time, stick it in your pocket, and have it readily available whenever it was needed. "Don't worry folks, we'll make it by 9; I took my time earlier!!"

Imagine a day in which everything was taken literally. You wake up at the ass crack of dawn. You thrown on your clothes. You run to the store for bread. While there, you are hit with inspiration. And, not surprisingly... after all that, your are dead tired. What a day that would be!
