Change the rules! Spice things up a bit! Switch genres or item types for a round or two! Poll your viewers/participants to see what they might be interested in! Don't be afraid to ask for feedback and listen to it!
Clean things up! Perhaps it's a good idea to purge old messages in forums. Or take a look at some of your items, especially ones that have links to entries, winners or informational items. Try to find any broken links or links to "invalid items" and clean those up!
Take out the trash! If you have a contest or activity that hasn't seen any action in quite some time, take some time to see if it's really worth continuing. Before scrapping it altogether, try a different advertising route. Use "
Participate! One of the best ways to get reviews is to give them, right? Well, sometimes the best way to attract participants is to participate in others' events, too! It can't hurt! 
Set some goals! (Or maybe re-assess your New Year's Goals) Try something fun, like climbing the Most Active Reviewers and Most Credited Reviewers List. Make a goal to write more Product Reviews or to create a Poll or Interactive Story!
