So you've entered the contests listed within this newsletter for months, and have reaped the rewards of winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Honorable Mentions. You've wracked up thousands and thousands of Gift Points, and now you're wondering what to do with them. Unfortunately, there's no currency exchange that allows you to trade Gift Points in for cash, but there are things you can do around Writing.Com to spend those hard-earned Points:

1. Use your Gift Points to purchase upgrades for yourself or others. You can do this by visiting your My Gift Points page. All upgrade levels are available to purchase via Gift Points, from lengths of 1 month through a year.

2. Purchase items at the Writing.Com Store. You can buy yourself or someone else Writing.Com branded t-shirts, pens, clipboards and more!

3. Host a contest of your own, and return your Gift Points into the Writing.Com community. Not only will you get the joy of helping someone else out, but you'll also get to experience the fun of holding a contest.

4. Host Bot Games on Scrolling Messages. These are fun and give faster returns than contests.

5. Bid on items in a Writing.Com member's auction. Just be careful about whose auction you bid in. Not all are reliable.

6. Send someone you know a cNote. Or even someone you don't know. It's a great way to let your current friends know you're thinking about them and an excellent way to make new friends.

7. Buy raffle tickets from a Writing.Com member's raffle. The same warning for auctions goes with the raffles. Make sure that the member you purchase tickets from is reliable.

8. Donate your Gift Points to a charity group like "RAOK Upgrade Brigade Group. Every little bit helps!

9. Gift your GPs to a random member, anonymously, as your own random act of kindness. You never know, it could really make someone's day!

Whatever you decide to do with your Gift Points, I hope that you have fun in the process! After all, that's what they're for. *Smile*
