Sydney Bateman

Greenwing Macaw. Not to be confused with a Scarlet Macaw.

Favorite thing to say?
“Hey!”, and “Step up.”

What type of nut do you prefer to eat?
I love peanuts and almonds. I will grab as any as my beak will hold – from the palm of your hand. It’s the only way to get me back into my cage.

I was about two years old.

Do you sleep with covers? In a happy hut?
I just like my perch.

Loudly begging my Dad to come get me.

Who is your favorite person in your flock?
My Dad! *Heart*

What scares you the most?
Strangers with fast footsteps.

How do you spend most of your free time?
Looking out the French doors of the den. I’m looking for my Dad’s red Avalanche.

Are you the messiest bird in the flock?
I don’t spill much food out of my cage.

If you had your choice, when would you bite another family member?
I don’t like the way skin tastes. I NEVER bite anyone.

What music do you like? Any DVD in particular?
Anything with an upbeat rhythm.

If you could visit any room in the house, where would you go?
In the back bedroom.

A memorable night?
I liked when Sweetie and Noah came to live with us since I knew them from the other house with my other owner.

A special visitor?
When Sarah came to visit us!. She is so pretty.

Can you whistle?
I never learned how.

What sounds do you like to mimic?
Loud screaming that can be heard for a mile sounds! And little soft sounds when I bob my head. I have excellent range.
