Just something I was feeling at the moment when I wrote this.
Two kindred souls
Trapped in two different worlds
So much alike
So much distance apart

Searching through darkness and pain
Haunted by images that cannot be
Dreaming of the one day
That will bring these two worlds together

I eagerly await this new world
For it can only be
What I've only dreamed of
Or maybe even more

This day would bring new life
To this tortured soul
Everyday longing to be released
From this cursed life

Two lost and trapped souls
Needing what each other could bring
Feeling ever so close
Yet being two worlds apart
