A sadness for a thoughtless act that can destroy a life's dreams.
Airplane Glue

Model child, he was filled with pride
Deft touch for the practiced art
         Elaborate plans taking flight
         Like an indistinct thought flown
There is no memory of a crime done
As innocent imaginings were struck dumb

The little planes and plastic cars
Now litter his mind, an empty room
         Locked in this permanence
