Drugs destroy, but the will to live is greater.
LITTLE GIRL HURT

Little girl hurt, and all alone
Visions are dead, dreams all destroyed.
Hope for a future – What is that?
She’s in a needle battle of
Mortal combat.

Little girl hurt, and all alone
Painful memories she must recall.
Focus on feelings-relive the pain
Be honest, willing, and open each day
To search for truth you’ve
Hidden away.

Little girl hurt, and all alone
Look at yourself and what you want.
NO! You can’t have the needle, pipe or a drink
Wake up! it’s time to come out of your sleep.
You’ve so much to offer and
Much more to reap.

Little girl hurt, and not quite alone
Open your eyes you may be surprised.
There are people who love you and those who care.
Are you willing to chance going somewhere?

Little girl hurt, one day at a time
No one can stop you,
Just you, yourself and your inner I.
It’s okay to be angry, outraged and cry.
Fight for your life! You have that choice.

Little girl, growing day by day;
Slowly awakening to your own power and life,
Energized now by all your successes,
Drugs will not maim you,
Death will not claim you.
Life has revived the will in you.

Little girl Beautiful, talented and strong
Life has not ended, it's only just begun.
Yesterday is gone, tomorrow not yet come,
But for today you’re building a foundation to
Grow day by day.
