Some people find love in all the wrong places...
Forbidden Fruit.

Beneath the stars
Underneath the thorny shrubs
On the cool sand
Among defeaning sounds
Love unite

Kisses sweet and tender
With Urgency, breathlessness,anxiety
Forbidden fruit we must eat
It's succulent taste savoured
Driving us into a frenzy

As different as the sun and moon
Joined as one in perfect fit
Lost in a rythmn so smooth
Screams and moans drowned by bombs
Strawberry bitter-sweet melodies

Explosions illuminate
In your eyes I search for solace
Desire and triumph is all I see
My fears still not appeased
Guns are drawing near

Like the stallion you are you envellope me
Drawing every breath from my soul
Soon you'll be gone to war
Leaving me to burn in the fire you lit
My soldier

I curse fate for bringing you to me
She must be dancing with glee
A perfectly sculpted soldier
Still
Underneath my rags you were awed

You shudder inside your desert queen
Victims of war, slaves of love
Day and night become one in total surrender
Fleeing the harshness of the world

Forbidden fruit...
