Be open and honest with your comments, I'm a newbie.
I look into the mirror
And stare at who I see
A brown haired, brown eyed woman
Looking back at me.

Her features seem familiar
I've seen this face before
But who she is escapes me
I need to look some more

Her eyes are very striking
You can see into her soul
Over on her left cheek
She has a little mole

Her lips are full and perfect
A nose cute as can be
Round face full of freckles
Angel kisses for all to see

Her looks are quite attractive
Her smile could light the world
This truly is a woman
Not a little girl

My eyes close for a moment
To process what I've seen
I realize that I know her
I wonder where she's been

My mind brings forth fond memories
Finally free from that dark place
I know who I am looking at
That familiar, beautiful face

I've been lost for such a long time
I'm glad now to be free
For the face that I've been looking at
All this time belonged to me.
