An attempt to see the changing world through the eyes and feelings of far observers.
Lament of the stars

We dress the night,
The sky in light we bathe,
In us your futures you may find,
Of the holy plan so great.

We’re food for poets,
For the dreams of lovers we shine,
To the lonely we bring hope,
We’re a glimpse of all divine.

We are the high observers,
And night after night we see,
The reality beneath us,
What the world has come to be.

We shine on busy lands,
We shine for lowered faces,
We grant dreams nobody wants,
We are one of the dying races.

We fight multicolored lights,
Our silent screams your noises conceal,
We are reduced to a mere background,
Of a world we tried to heal.

So ignored in this lonely sky,
With this lament we do pray,
That the world of us takes notice,
Before we fade away.
