a poem about women and their beauty
if tonight may end without breathing you
i will be a woman less the man;
instead helpless as wo wondering through
life where men may rule, yet this woman
is god true in her creation of life,
her body something i wish not to never know
(The touch of death be so cruel with his scythe
if weren’t the lovely faces of his foes,
because then men would be ever helpless
in this now eternal story of life;),
rhythmic pleasures i would miss (i must confess!)
when tomorrow rose, bearing only strife
of men, the devils of this sacred place
hell would be earth without one angel’s face
